    Diploma Exhibition, 2026

    13 June 2026, 10:00 a.m.
    20 June 2026, 6:00 p.m.
Through the latest works from twelve master’s programs, presented between June 13 and 20, we can gain insight into the questions engaging MOME’s new generation of creators. The themes are diverse: this year’s graduation projects prominently explore issues situated at the boundary of the digital and analog worlds, as well as mental well-being and self-awareness, sustainability and critiques of material culture, and the examination of identity, the body, and social norms at the intersection of design, fashion, media culture, and design theory.

What stories lie behind the objects people leave behind on Budapest’s public transport? How can design create joyful objects for blind and partially sighted people? What does design have to say about digital consent or tradwife aesthetics? And how can urban housing or Holocaust education become the subject of a diploma project? This year’s MA diploma projects at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design once again show what currently engages the new generation of emerging artists and designers. The works on display look at social, environmental and technological challenges from personal perspectives.
For years, the visual identity of the MOME Diploma event series has been based on a concept selected through an open call. This tradition is closely tied to the university’s educational profile. For students, building the visual world of the Diploma is an excellent opportunity to take on a complex communication challenge as independent designers, drawing on what they have learned in graphic design, photography, or media design. Created specifically for the occasion, the identity also serves as a visual snapshot of its time, tying together the annually recurring Diploma process and giving it a distinctive, memorable character.
Lenyűgöző kötött anyagok és sziluettek, mesebeli lények, egy elhagyott gyárépület, egy ikonikus lámpa, egy pöttyös labda, személyes élmények: a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem (MOME) korábbi rektori diplomadíjas munkái idén júniusban fővárosi citylight-plakátokon mutatkoznak be.
