Whether it is developing creative communication or video content, producing visual landscapes, experimenting with new technologies or creating kinetic installations, our Media Design BA programme offers a solid knowledge base and media design approach.
The modular programme covers a wide range of contemporary audiovisual areas, such as social audiovisual communication, cinematographic representation, digital imaging, programming of interactive interfaces and new media in general, both at a practical and theoretical level.
We train creative professionals who are confident in the application of new technologies and creative in the overlapping use of tools and software. The programme provides a solid foundation for making a career in applied fields or as an autonomous artist, as well as for proceeding to the Media Design MA.

Kihirdették a 2026-os tavaszi félév Stefan Lengyel Kiválósági ÖsztöndÃjának nyerteseit. This year, the MOME community celebrated the graduates of twelve MA and nine BA courses in a festive ceremony. Speeches were given by interior designer Mrs. Bánki née Laura Szerdahelyi, one of our jubilee graduates, who turns 91 this year and designed the interiors of Déli Railway Station; Curator and László Moholy-Nagy’s grandson Daniel Hug; and designer Stefan Lengyel, who is celebrating a milestone anniversary this year. In addition to conferring the degrees, this year’s Rector’s Special Awards and several professional awards were announced, and the Gold, Diamond and Iron jubilee graduates also received their certificates.
For years, the visual identity of the MOME Diploma event series has been based on a concept selected through an open call. This tradition is closely tied to the university’s educational profile. For students, building the visual world of the Diploma is an excellent opportunity to take on a complex communication challenge as independent designers, drawing on what they have learned in graphic design, photography, or media design. Created specifically for the occasion, the identity also serves as a visual snapshot of its time, tying together the annually recurring Diploma process and giving it a distinctive, memorable character.
