The Policy Enlarge international collaboration launched at MOME
The project aims to strengthen evidence-based decision-making, implementation, and support in research and innovation policy across ten South-East European economies preparing to join the EU: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine. Running from April 2026 to March 2029, the project brings together partners including the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development (RCISD), with MOME handling creative identity design, communication consultancy, and workshops. Building on the results of POLICY ANSWERS, Policy Enlarge extends EU-supported research and innovation policy cooperation to these accession-focused economies.
At the two-day kick-off meeting in Budapest, project partners explored the key professional focus areas of Policy Enlarge across six thematic work packages, from policy dialogue to capacity building.
Following opening remarks by MOME, a representative of the European Commission, and the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development coordinating the project, interactive workshop-based sessions lay the groundwork for the next three years of collaboration and established the framework for joint work. MOME staff member Dorottya Féja gave a presentation on cooperation between higher education institutions and the creative sector. This work will continue in service design workshops led together with our teacher Fanni Csernátony.
The project is funded by the NKFI Fund through the Horizon Europe programme.
