The spring semester evaluations (KIPAK) of the 2023/2024 academic year will take place between 21 and 24 May over a period of 4 days. We look forward to seeing you on the Campus at the events that are also open to the public!

From wound to error: the role of the situated experience in the language and processes of image making. Mexican artist Alejandra Aragón shares her reflections on the importance of one's situated experience to develop our own language and strategies to produce socially engaged images. You are invited to attend the presentation of the winner of the 2024 Elizabeth A-i-R residency programme.

The 16 applicants who will receive the Stefan Lengyel Excellence Scholarship will be announced at a ceremonial award ceremony on March 5. It is a special pleasure and honor for us that the namesake of the scholarship, Professor Emeritus Stefan Lengyel, will also be present at the event.

Kossuth, Béla Balázs, and Munkácsy Award-winning graphic designer, animation director, and author István Orosz will hold a master class at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design on Tuesday, 14 November at 5:00 p.m.

Budapest is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its unification in 2023. On this occasion, the Graphic Design BA programme of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and its Illustration specialisation invited students of the German Hochschule Anhalt and the Czech UMPRUM design universities to work together on creating stunning touristic posters.

The Budapest Design Week has been bringing together design professionals and enthusiast of the capital in mid-October for 20 years with exciting events. As part of these, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design once again presents a selection of diploma projects by freshly graduated MA students, this time downtown, off the University Campus.
