What social, cultural and technological forces are shaping the thinking of a new generation of designers? The collections presented on the runway, together with the accompanying exhibition, reflect not only on the current challenges facing fashion but also on wider contemporary issues, including sustainability, the relationship between tradition and contemporary culture, shifting identities, and the processing of personal loss and trauma.

The fashion show and exhibition have been curated by established figures in the fashion industry: MA Programme Lead Ildikó Kele, who has successfully built her own fashion brand over many years, and lecturer Dóri Tomcsányi, together with BA Programme Lead Annamária Simándi Kövér, Assistant Lecturer Csenge Vass, and the programme's teaching team.

While the MA students developed their projects through independent research questions and individual creative directions, this year's BA collections are built around the concept of beginnings and endings. The projects span a wide range of themes and formats, including garments, footwear, accessories, material innovations, tactile textile systems and spatial installations. Some of these works will appear on the runway, while others will be presented as part of the accompanying interdisciplinary exhibition.
